Beginning in 1996, Shindig's core vision has remained intact: to approach volleyball with solid expertise and fresh enthusiasm. This is a volleyball site designed by volleyball players. As we've grown, every professional added to our team is driven by this guiding principle. Our site reflects who we are. Straightforward. Passionate. Involved.

With backgrounds in technology, sports, marketing, design, and journalism, Shindig is changing the way people experience the game. We believe the Internet is an information revolution in our society. We are the pioneers, the trendsetters and the revolutionaries. And we will get up tomorrow and do it all over again. Why not rest on our laurels? The Mission -- Shindig's mission is to become the preeminent resource for volleyball leagues and tournaments. By using the interactive medium of the Internet, we hope to provide players with the most informative and visually pleasing volleyball web environment.

The Vision -- We wish to create environments that allow the players to become immersed in, and experience first hand, the excitement and exhilaration of the game. In the process, we will increase the value for enthusiasts, event and brand owners, advertisers and sponsors of the game.

And our name? We think it befits our purpose: to organize festive games and get togethers where players and spectators alike can gather and share their love of the game.
