Serving Up Support.
Every year since 1995, AACO (Asian Americans for Community Outreach) has served up support for local charities through its annual Sports Day for Charity. This event offers levels of volleyball for everyone, from the highly skilled to first time players, but that's just the half of it. On and off the courts, participants and spectators are treated to an amazing atmosphere via friendly faces, tshirts, lunches and competition. All this together with the beautiful setting on Palo Alto's Greer Park makes for a spectacular day, even if you come just to soak up the excitement.

AACO's MISSION: Creating a forum in the San Francisco Bay Area where professionals and students can meet and foster the common goal of community service, benefiting the extended community as a whole.

AACO accomplishes its mission by organizing social fundraising events. The concept originated in San Francisco and has flourished ever since. Shindig Volleyball has since helped organize many of their volleyball events. The tournament has grown significantly since then. In 2004, 46 teams attended and $5,000 was raised for three very deserving local charities and it's now the largest 4-on-4 coed volleyball tournament in Northern California.
