Introduction
Shindig tries its hardest to regulate rules and regulations that ensure fair competition as well as consistent play. These rules are issued to govern conduct of gaming. The Tournament Director will act upon any situation not specifically covered by these rules and his decision is final. IF IT IS NOT IN THE RULES, DON'T ASSUME, ASK.

Our goal is to apply all rules firmly and equally. On-site staff organizers reserve the right to modify/change or alter rules during the season to promote fairness and safety. Any changes will be posted on this website. Any players not meeting these rules can be disqualified from tournament play and banned from further Shindig competition.

The Tournament Director can refuse the entry of any player or spectator at any event, any time. Any dispute will be taken up with the Tournament Director and ONLY in an orderly fashion.

Aside from the specific rules, these general rules apply to ALL tournaments, regardless of format:

1. Illegal transport, illegal possession, or illegal use of drugs or other substances.
2. Physical damage to a facility or theft of items from a room, dormitory, residence or other person. (Restitution will be a part of any penalty imposed.)
3. Possession of fireworks, ammunition, firearms, other weapons or any item or material which by commonly accepted practices and principles would be a hazard or harmful to other persons.
4. Any action considered to be an offense under Federal, State or local laws/ordinances.
5. Violation of the specific policies, regulations, and/or procedures of any facility used in conjunction with a sanctioned event.
6. Conduct that is inappropriate as determined by comparison to normally accepted behavior.
7. Physical or verbal intimidation, or harassment of any individual.
